ALL OF US. {see, we are not a failure after all}

Read. Read. Read

Hello readers!

I love buying books as much I love thrift shopping or collecting make up. Buying and reading books is like therapy to me.  When I get angry with my classmates or annoyed with demanding people in school, I usually end up buying books in BookSale. So today, I’m going to show the books I accumulated for these past few weeks. Take note that I haven’t read them yet because I am still busy doing some school stuff.

Crazy Pants

Hello lovelies!

I’m currently watching the new episode of The Walking Dead (yay!). It’s is my most favorite series of all time because I love watching zombies and how people survive in this kind of dilemma (pretty exciting, eh?). So while I’m downloading this show I’m going to blog. Today, I’m blogging about my current obsession which are these CRAZY PANTS.  So a little disclaimer here: I do not own any of these photos, I got them from weheartit to show you some of my I’m-going-to-buy-these-pants-someday. So let’s get started!

1. Back to Basic Crazy Pants

I  call this back to basic crazy pants because for a pair of high fashion pants, these are pretty simple. But, I’m not saying that these are boring/plain pants. They still has the style that makes people ask questions such as “where did you get them?” (hahaha, if you know what I mean) I actually have a pair similar to this, which are dotted acid wash ones that could go to any outfit you want.

2. Royalty

Can you see those patterns? I know, I know its freakin’ gorgeous! This pants reminds me of  the Royal Family of UK.

“Dear Pants,

If we ever meet in the department store, remember this: I’M GOING TO BUY YOU NO MATTER HOW PRICEY YOU ARE” (just kidding! you know me guys…)

4. Leather Pants

It’s leather baby! who doesn’t want to feel like cat woman or action star?  I do like leather clothes, it makes me feel tough and strong..

5. Aztec Print

I looveeee Aztec Print! I actually have these ones, except that mine are leggings and the photos are of pants. So hopefully I could find pants that have an aztec print (in a different color).

6. Floral Pants

This pants reminds me of fall and summer. If I had this kind of pants, I will pair it with gold/peachy kind of sweater. I have seen a lot of these floral pants at my local markets but so far I couldn’t find the right one because some of them have rough textures and some are pretty expensive.

7. Wild Child

I love these pants soooo much.  I call it “Wild Child”, because of the flashy colors and distress style. I also imagine myself wearing this while dancing the harlem shake. hahahaha

8. Neon Pants

These ones are my favorite of all. Why? Because it is NEON (and I love flashy colors). I actually own  colored pants but not as bright as this. So I hope I’ll find another one because I’ll definitely buy that one.

If I’ll be able to purchase all of these, I will post about them to show you my own crazy pants.

Elizabeth Arden: Lip gloss and Mascara

Hello Lovelies!

I’m happy today because:

  • I’m done with my Theology Exam, and I’m pretty sure that I answered it well.
  • I survived the cue-notes-are-not-allowed report in my European Government subject.
  • and the elections are done

So I let myself  watch the new episode of The Walking Dead called Suicide King (I love this TV series so much).  I also want to treat you guys by blogging about my 1st ever ELIZABETH ARDEN make-up! Last last week our package arrived, and one of the things I am excited the most about is the make up. So, thank you Mamu for giving me another set of lip glosses and mascara :*

My Elizabeth Arden comes with 4 tubes of lip gloss and one mascara. It also comes with a make up bag which is very gorgeous ( I use this as a wallet).

Left – right:

  • 01 black mascara, lip gloss:
  • Sparkle Mauve,
  • BerryLicious, S
  • andleLight.

This is a coral orange-ish lip gloss. It’s perfect for summer and for casual occasions. I use this as an everyday make up because of its safe color.

As you can see, this lip gloss has no color at all. So if you want to try this, be sure to put some lipstick before you use it. It will give you that translucent effect with lipstick on.

This lip gloss has a semi-fuchsia and pink color. This one is my favorite of all. I usually combined it with my Sao Paolo NYX lip cream because the combination of it is very gorgeous. But if you don’t want to put much lip products on you lips, you can still wear this alone. (you hear me? YOU CAN USE IT ALONE :)) It is still visible without any lipstick on.

Sparkle Mauve

I also like this color, it has this plum color that will make you more sophisticated and grown up. It’s perfect for winter.

I use this mascara every Saturday and I assure you it does its job. And it’s so small so it can perfectly fit any make up bag.

Up-down: Shimmering, Sparkle Mauve, Candlelight,  Berrylicious, Black mascara

I recommend this product because its very convenient and it’s not heavy on your lips. The only downfall of this product is its smell. I don’t like the smell of it because it reminds me of my toy when I was in elementary school, but the smell is bearable. You can still use it for the rest of the day. I definitely encourage you to try this product because it does its job perfectly.

Rotten System

Disclaimer: This post may sound offensive to everyone, but is just my opinion to the recent SAMAPULA (Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Agham Pampulitika ng Ateneo) election. If you are not used to read, rant/negative post please stop reading this.

The recent SAMAPULA officers decided to change the system of election. I don’t know the reason behind this. Maybe because they want us to follow the right way of electing the officers. Instead of raising our hands, the candidates are entitled to file their certificate of  candidacy (COC) and we should follow the proper voting. I agree with the new election system because by that we will know their capacity and their capabilities of being a leader. So if the candidates are entitled to file their COC’s the officers are also entitled to a MITING DE AVANCE. But this did not happen. YOU SHOULD NOT CHANGE THE SYSTEM IF YOU CANNOT TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EXECUTING IT. It is in our voting rights to ask the candidates, to know how this future leaders govern SAMAPULA and to know that they did not just run for the sake of yearbook but because they want to help SAMAPULA. I also don’t like the way the officers presided the election. It was very informal. The room was crowded, people were cheering and laughing, and some of the candidates did not follow the instructions. Moreover, I think the officers should at least have formed an independent body who are responsible for counting the votes and laying the rules of campaigning.

For me, yesterday’s election is a Failure. I hope the aspiring candidates saw the shortcomings of the officers and improve it for the betterment of our club. Congratulations and good luck to the new officers of the SAMAPULA 2012-2013.

Valentines Series: Nail art- glitter and glam

Hello girls!

4 days to go and it’s valentines Day! Valentines is not all about dates, flowers and chocolates. You can still celebrate this day even if you don’t have a valentine. You can watch a movie with your friends or do some nail art. So today, I’m going to share this cute nail art that is perfect for valentines.

1. Paint the upper part of you nails with any glitter nail polish.

2. When the upper part is done, you can paint the lower part with any red nail polish.

3.Put the clear nail polish for the top coat, and you are done 🙂
